Hi there — we've been through plenty of these conversations, so here's exactly where we stand.

We keep our prices identical across markets, our website, and any store that carries us — so we can't take on rent that isn't sustainable for us or fair to our customers. Our terms are simple and transparent: we're open to renting a bookshelf or shelf space at a fixed rate of $200–$600/month, depending on the store's foot traffic and social media activity.

A 50% commission on sales doesn't work for us — it effectively prices our products out of reach for customers, and marking things up 2–3x to cover rent isn't something we're willing to do to shoppers either. What matters most to us: our products stay affordable and in stock for customers, and you as a store never get stuck holding inventory that isn't moving.

We also ask for a transparent sales/payment system, so it's easy for both sides to see how the product is performing.
